Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening in Canal Winchester, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help screen people and/or materials, monitor assigned areas, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. This role offers the chance to stay visible, provide strong customer service, and communicate clearly while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen people, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and document arrivals, departures, and/or screening results to help support orderly operations at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated screening areas, dock locations, and perimeter access points, as assigned by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
