As a Security Officer Screening Clerk in Groveport OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures access protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen people bags packages and/or personal items entering designated areas in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures.
• Monitor entry points verify credentials and document visitor and/or delivery activity to help support authorized access and security-related awareness.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and the perimeter noting irregular activity and reporting maintenance access control and/or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
