Base Pay $23.00 - $24.00 / Hour Relocation Expense Covered No Employee Type FT - Nonexempt Required Degree High school Manage Others No Description Phoenix Management Solutions provides shared administrative services for intermodal transportation carriers across the U.S. We are expanding our Credit and Collections department and are hiring a Credit Representative to join our San Antonio, Texas team. This is an on‑site, in‑office role that will collaborate with the Director of Credit and Collections and other team members. The Credit Representative will evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers and ensure that the Company receives timely payment for services offered to their customers. Requirements Duties/Responsibilities Review accounts to determine collection efforts. Draft correspondence for standard past‑due accounts and collections, identify delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contact delinquent accountholders to request payment. Submit invoices to customers and make invoice adjustments according to company practices. Work closely with terminal managers to ensure proper billing and documentation. Review payment portals for payment status and identify potential problems. Keep accurate records of collection activity. Research customer discrepancies and past‑due balances. Deposit and photocopy checks received. Review and processes Credit Applications to evaluate credit worthiness. Create customer accounts, maintain, and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing/e‑mailing attentions. Create reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested. Identifies and escalates appropriate issues to management as needed. All other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Possess and demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and to prioritize workload. Must be detailed oriented – with strong attention to accuracy and problem‑solving. Excellent computer skills, including MS Word and MS Excel. Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly within a team. Education and Experience Must have high school diploma or GED. Some college preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing customer‑focused service and administrative support. Previous experience in NetSuite a plus! Will train on proprietary software. Prior experience working in the transportation and/or logistics industry preferred. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer performing required duties of the position. Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. without assistance as part of the regular duties of the position. Must be able to periodically walk upstairs, stand, bend, and stoop while reaching for accounting files. Demonstrate ability to stay focused in a fast paced, sometimes noisy work environment.
