Growing together.The Customer Delivery leader will be accountable for end-to-end customer and developer implementation experience, ensuring new retailers, providers, FinTech and 3rd party payment integrators can onboard, integrate, certify and launch successfully to the S3 Payments Network.This leader will partner across Growth, Account Management, Product, Engineering Operations to continuously improve the implementation journey, remove technical and operational friction and translate delivery insights into scalable improvements to the Payments Network. This includes managing resources, providing executive level readout and defining the overall strategy for the implementation team.This role will need to be able to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels of the organization. Communications include communication to internal and external stakeholders, as well as executive leadership. The Customer Delivery leader should be a self-starter with a strategic mindset and show an ability to problem-solve underlying payment issues.The position requires a desire to grow with an expanding team. As part of that growth, the Customer Delivery leader should be ready to take on new challenges that drive personal and professional growth.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:Drive planning, organizing, and executing large scale retailer and provider implementation projectsOwn and continuously improve end-to-end customer and developer experience across onboarding, certification, launch activitiesIdentify recurring customer and developer pain points and champion with Product and Engineering teams to improve APIs, tools, documentations and platform capabilitiesCoordinating with other leaders from growth, account management, product, engineering, operations, and compliance teams to drive overall network strategyProvide payment expertise in support of future strategy and initiativesIdentify risks and escalate issues to executive leadershipDrive process efficiencies across the implementation and certifications of merchants, providers and 3rd parties' payment providesYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:15+ years payments experience spanning customer implementations, product, technology / engineering and/or business operations15+ years driving large merchant, FinTech merchant implementations10+ years of experience leading complex customer implementations involving APIs, payment platforms, gateways, processors and other technical implementations10+ years of experience bridging customer needs product requirements, technical delivery to resolve implementation challenges and improve customer experience10+ years of experience building and scaling customer implementation or delivery operating models across multiple strategic customers and partners5+ years communicating at the executive level 5+ years managing strategic partnerships in FinTechPreferred Qualifications:Experience in software engineering, technical product management, solution architecture, or other hands-on technical delivery Comprehensive knowledge of the retail payment ecosystem, including APIs, P2PE, gateways, and processorsExtensive knowledge of using AI to drive efficienciesDemonstrated solid time management, organization, and prioritization skillsDemonstrated solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write error-free, professional proposals and executive summaries for executive leadership managementDemonstrated solid presentation and facilitation skillsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter PolicyPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
