For our corporate team members, whether you work in a hybrid schedule at our Houston BedQuarters (BQ) or are fully remote, we trust you with the freedom to decide how best to contribute and collaborate in your role.The HYBRID Facilities Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day facility maintenance needs to ensure company facilities are maintained effectively and efficiently along with meeting company and department initiatives and goals set by executive leadership and supervisor/manager. NOTE: This hybrid role will report to the Bed Quarters location in Houston, TX 2 days each week and may work remotely the remainder of the week.Essential ResponsibilitiesInterpret lease language for responsibilities related to service work.Maintain database for repair and maintenance history for all facilities.Code accounts payable invoices to ensure correct cost center accounting classification.Coordinate work assignments among building technicians, vendors, and contractors.Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.Respond to service issues in a tactful and expedient manner.Update the company's internal website with facilities related issues.Partner with landlords and property managers to resolve all repair and preventive maintenance issues.Act as liaison between Real Estate and Construction.Coordinate repair and maintenance items with the company's third party call center.Provide support concerning maintenance and repair issues.Respond to service issues in a timely manner.Provide administrative support to the Facilities Manager.Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and Company operations.Non-Essential ResponsibilitiesExecute Company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor.Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company.EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredBachelor's Degree Business, related field, and/or equivalent experience preferredProfessional Experience3+ Years in facilities or multi-site retail property management preferredSkills ListAble to manage multi-site work ordersAble to adapt to new situations, change and shift strategies to meet different types of challenges.Adept at organizing and planning time between specific activities.Skilled in initiating, structuring, and carrying out steps to complete projects and tasks.Effectively able to manage and resolve conflict in a positive way.Skilled in exchanging information through verbal, written, or non-verbal cues.Capable of identifying all aspects of a problem and understanding why a problem exists in order to develop a workable solution.Ability to collect, gather, visualize, and analyze information in details.Ability to act upon insights and perceptions independent of rational thought.Skillful in compiling, organizing, and using data to enhance planning and effectiveness.Capacity to be customer service oriented and self-motivated.Exceptional communication skills.Ability to troubleshoot basic repair and maintenance issues.Competencies & KnowledgeProficient in Microsoft Office productsFacilities management softwarePhysical Demands & Office EnvironmentSitting for up to 8+ hoursStanding occasionallyWalking occasionallyTalking frequentlyHearing frequentlyUsage of hands and fingersReaching with hands and armsBenefits Included:Excellent career growth opportunities through on-the-job training and development programs401(k) with employer matchingMental health and life resourcesMedical, dental, prescription, and vision plansGet paid on-demandBase pay or uncapped commissionEmployee discounts on Mattress Firm sleep products and accessoriesCompetitive pay range of $55,000 - $59,000 * depending on qualifications and experience.
