About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Credit Engineering Lead to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of technology solutions that underpin its global credit investment platform. This pivotal role demands a hands-on leader with a strong background in building enterprise-grade applications within financial services, particularly in the areas of credit investment, lending, and portfolio management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers, establishing engineering standards, and ensuring the adoption of modern architecture and best practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product management and investment professionals, is essential to deliver scalable and high-performing technology solutions that align with the firm's business objectives. Applicants for the Vice President, Credit Engineering Lead position at the company should possess a minimum of 9-12 years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership capacity. The role requires advanced technical skills in Java, React, TypeScript, and a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and data platforms. Experience in modernizing and transforming technology platforms, as well as a proven track record in software development lifecycle management, is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, particularly in credit and alternative asset management, and a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop engineering talent.
