Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP licensure for New Jersey
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
• Background working in pediatric or school-based settings
• Strong familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices—prior experience supporting students using these tools is essential
• Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans for diverse learning styles and communication needs
• Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, teachers, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students requiring support, with a focus on early learners in the ABA program
• Conduct evaluations and ongoing assessments to track student progress
• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs and IEP goals
• Provide expertise and training for staff and families regarding AAC device use
• Document services, maintain compliance, and participate in IEP meetings
