Step into a dynamic district setting as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students across multiple schools. This full-time opportunity provides consistent hours, running from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday, for 35 hours each week. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 25, 2027.
This role covers services district-wide, so comfort working with various teams and managing a diverse caseload is essential. You’ll deliver speech-language therapy, complete required evaluations and assessments, and track student progress, all while adapting to the unique needs of each school site. The district requires SLPs to provide their own testing materials.
Preferred candidates will possess:
- Valid SLP licensure for New Jersey
- School-based SLP experience (CCC required; no CFs or SLPAs due to supervision limitations)
- Ability to complete thorough evaluations, testing, and assessments
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Reliable transportation and a willingness to commute efficiently
- Willingness to service a caseload in need and adapt across diverse school environments
- Preparedness to clear onboarding steps including TB, physical, and fingerprinting for agency and district
You’ll work closely with district educators and families, making a meaningful impact while navigating a variety of school communities. Quick, 15-minute interviews keep the process efficient so you can get started promptly.
