Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
• Previous experience or strong interest in pediatrics and school-based settings
• Proficiency in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and delivering individualized therapy
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt approaches to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children from preschool through high school age
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in coordination with educational teams
• Deliver direct therapy, monitor student progress, and document outcomes effectively
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to facilitate optimal student participation in educational activities
• Provide support and resources for staff and parents regarding communication development
• Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language therapy
