Commercial Director

As Commercial Director at Payfuture, you will be at the forefront of our fast-paced, dynamic environment, leading commercial strategy and driving high-value growth across key global markets. Based in North America, you will serve as a senior commercial leader driving expansion with a focus on cross-border payment corridors and high-growth international trade routes. We are looking for an entrepreneurial executive who thrives in a scale-up environment, capable of shaping strategy while actively executing enterprise-level deals. In this leadership role, you will take ownership of defining commercial priorities, identifying and securing strategic opportunities, and building long-term partnerships with enterprise prospects, payment ecosystem stakeholders, and major financial institutions. You will expand Payfuture’s presence across key global payment corridors, enabling seamless inbound and outbound transaction flows - while leading revenue strategy, structuring complex commercial terms, and optimizing client portfolio performance. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in cross-border payment solutions, with strong exposure to digital wallets, remittance companies, international payroll providers, digital banks, payment service providers (PSPs), and global merchants. A comprehensive understanding of cross-border payment infrastructure, regulatory landscapes, and the commercial requirements of global fintech clients is essential. Payfuture offers uncapped OTE with a 3-year waterfall commission structure. Key Responsibilities Commercial Leadership & Strategy: Lead commercial direction and execution, setting KPIs, portfolio evaluation metrics, and strategic plans to scale market share across key global and emerging corridors. Enterprise Deal Execution: Manage and negotiate complex, high-value commercial agreements with major enterprise clients and strategic partners. Ecosystem & Corridor Expansion: Establish and expand strategic alliances with payment gateways, international payment providers, e-commerce platforms, and regional financial institutions. End-to-End Deal Ownership: Lead the complete commercial cycle, from target selection and high-level engagement to commercial structuring and final contract negotiation—ensuring smooth handover to Account Management. Revenue & Portfolio Optimization: Identify up-selling, cross-selling, and new revenue models across international payment flows while tracking portfolio performance and market trends. Executive Representation: Represent Payfuture as a thought leader at global trade events, industry summits, and board-level client meetings. Requirements & Experience Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field with extensive, demonstrable leadership experience within Payments, Fintech, E-commerce, or Banking. Domain Expertise: In-depth knowledge of global payment processing, cross-border settlement, and high-growth international payment ecosystems. Executive Track Record: Proven background in building strategic commercial pipelines, engaging C‑Suite decision-makers, and closing multi-million-dollar deals through solution-led selling. Network: An established professional network across the global payment and fintech landscape across North America.
