Duties Summary This position diagnoses and treats medical illnesses, diseases and disorders of the human body. Renders professional medical services covering a variety of medical problems in patients of all ages, or renders professional medical services in a specialized field of medicine. In addition to rendering professional medical services, positions may also direct medical and auxiliary services such as laboratory, dental, nursing, etc. Minimum Qualification Requirements To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements: Legal Authorization To Work: The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States. License: Applicants must possess a valid, unrestricted medical license in a state or territory of the United States. Upon appointment, applicants must possess a valid license or limited and temporary license to practice medicine or osteopathy in the State of Hawai‘i.
