Pay & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $55.90/hour

What You'll Do

• Assist during cardiovascular surgical procedures in a busy OR environment
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments and equipment
• Support surgeons during intricate CVOR, vascular, thoracic, and robotic cases
• Adhere to aseptic and safety protocols, including laser safety, radiation safety, and sharps precautions
• Manage specimen handling and labeling in compliance with hospital standards
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including support in hybrid ORs and general ORs
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic (Excellian) charting system

What You Need

• Required:
• Valid BLS and NBSTSA certification
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience, including cardiovascular and vascular cases
• Experience with cardiovascular procedures such as Aortic Aneurysm repair, TAVR, CABG, and VAD placement
• Knowledge of sterile and aseptic techniques, specimen handling, and safety protocols
• Preferred:
• Experience with robotic surgeries, especially XI robotics
• Familiarity with hybrid OR environments and thoracic surgeries
• Ability to float across various OR settings within scope

Join a teaching-level hospital with 317 staffed beds and a level 3 trauma designation in Saint Paul. This opportunity involves supporting a high-volume facility performing 40-50 cases daily across multiple surgical specialties including CV, vascular, thoracic, and robotic procedures. Work within advanced OR facilities, including 20 rooms equipped with the latest technology, to deliver critical surgical care in a fast-paced environment.
