Allied Technician - Surgical Tech

CVOR Technologist

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Technologist to join our surgical services team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the cardiovascular operating room, as well as proficiency in supporting a variety of surgical specialties.

This position offers a 3x12 hour shift schedule, with potential shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM or 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM.

Assist in cardiovascular, spine, orthopedic, vascular, general surgery, and robotic cases.

Ensure aseptic and sterile techniques are maintained in all surgical procedures.

Utilize specialized instrumentation and technology during surgical procedures.

Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Participate in departmental operations and assist in training new staff as needed.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR.

National certifications: BLS and NBSTSA required.

Experience with specific cardiovascular procedures, including but not limited to: Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Mitral Valve Replacement, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Ventricular Assist Device (VAD).

Experience in vascular and thoracic surgery techniques.

Experience in General OR and Hybrid OR settings is preferred.

Ability to float within the hospital as required by department needs.

On-call availability as needed.

This position is within an acute care facility with active surgical services. The facility encompasses 20 operating rooms performing 40-50 surgical cases per day. Staffed beds total 317, providing a robust environment for professional development and collaboration.

Weekend shifts may be required as needed.

Projected start date will be coordinated based on compliance and onboarding requirements.
