Great Hot Springs Specialty Clinic is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join their team. This dual-role position involves managing front desk operations and providing essential clinical support. The ideal candidate will handle patient scheduling, registration, and communication while also performing basic medical assisting duties. T

 

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
• Manage front desk operations and patient registration
• Verify insurance and manage medical records
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff
• Measure vital signs and perform basic medical assisting tasks
• Use Epic EHR system for documentation and scheduling

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in medical assisting
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (Epic)
• Experience with patient scheduling software
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service aptitude
