Sr. Business Development Account Executive
What does a business development executive do? A business development executive is a significant member of a company's growth strategy – responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for top-tier client accounts with responsibility for winning new clients while retaining and growing existing clients. (meet and exceed quotas)
- Must be a "sales hunter," building new relationships and winning work from new contractors.
- Find new opportunities, identifies decision-makers, responds to RFPs, gathers information, strengthens personal and professional relationships, positions the company favorably, and works with internal resources to maximize the potential to win large deals.
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients
- Identify decision-makers and influencers
- Manage sales pipelines (both short and long term)
- Proactively/efficiently leverage resources with dedicated internal teams and executive staff around opportunities to ensure successful outcomes
- Win work from new contractors
- Enter all information into our CRM
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.
- Prior experience prospecting to and winning business from developers/builders/General Contractors of mid-to-high rise buildings.
- Valid driver's license and car.

Due to growth, our client is seeking a Business Development Executive to work hybrid out of the New Jersey Office, while residing and maintaining the assigned territory.
