Are You Enthusiastic About Patient Care? Join Us as Our Next Endodontic Dental Assistant! We are seeking a skilled and motivated Endodontic Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in endodontics and hold a current Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification. This individual will assist the doctor during endodontic procedures while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Pay: $15 - $20 per hour Requirements License & Certification: Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Basic life support, Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant, Infection Control License Years of Professional Experience: Experienced Dental assistant with 2+ years of practice Current Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification. Minimum of 2 years of endodontic dental assisting experience. Current CPR/BLS certification. Experience taking digital radiographs. Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Job Description Assist the endodontist during a variety of endodontic procedures. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are ready prior to procedures. Take and process digital dental radiographs (X-rays). Prepare and sterilize instruments following OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Provide chairside assistance during root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures. Educate patients on treatment procedures and post-operative care. Monitor patient comfort and respond to patient needs throughout treatment. Manage operatory setup and breakdown between patients. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow.
