Step into a rewarding environment serving students near San Jose, CA as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting school sites in a collaborative, contract capacity—on-site only, no virtual assignments. Multiple positions are available, providing critical assistance to help manage high caseloads at the start of the academic year.

Assignments include:

• One part-time opportunity focusing on Braly and Briarwood Elementary Schools, covering a mix of mid/moderate and general education/preschool populations. You’ll circulate between schools (one site per day), ensuring vital assessment support and service delivery. This assignment continues until an internal hire is made by the district.
• Two full-time SLP roles at either Petersen Middle School or Santa Clara High School, working with general education caseloads (40–50 students). These positions are needed until mid-to-late September and offer diverse, hands-on experience across school settings.

Ideal candidates bring:

• Current SLP licensure; CCC preferred but not required
• Demonstrated experience in school-based speech-language pathology
• Strong collaboration abilities and flexibility in daily assignments
• Competency in assessment and intervention for a variety of student needs
• Reliable communication and organizational skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language services to students with varying needs
• Conduct assessments and support ongoing case management, especially in overload situations
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with school protocols
• Collaborate with site staff and fellow specialists to ensure comprehensive support
• Adjust seamlessly to changes in daily work location
