Senior Mechanical Engineer
Photonics Industries
Collaborate with Project Managers and Laser Engineers to design and optimize optomechanics components.
- Perform initial and ongoing design reviews
- Develop CAD project drawings and review drawings from junior team members for accuracy
- Deliver documentation offering a critical analysis and suggestions for correcting errors
- Other duties as assigned
Mechanical Engineer Skills
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Photonics or Optics.
- 5+ years’ experience in mechanical design, preferred in optical and laser industries.
- Strong knowledge in AutoCAD/SolidWorks software and drafting procedures
- Excellent prioritization and project development skills
