Key Responsibilities\n

• Respond promptly to clients in crisis, offering immediate support and interventions to ensure their safety and well-being.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, complying with all relevant legal and ethical standards.

• Educate clients about communication skills, conflict resolution strategies, and coping mechanisms to enhance their emotional and relational health.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive client care that addresses both physical and mental health needs.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in marriage and family therapy practices through ongoing education and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Westside Psychotherapy Services, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele that includes adults, children, and adolescents. Your expertise will be essential in helping families navigate complex issues such as relationship conflicts, parenting challenges, and mental health disorders. You are encouraged to approach each session with cultural competence and empathy, tailoring your practice to meet the unique backgrounds and experiences of your clients.

Qualifications\n

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• At least three years of experience providing therapy services in outpatient settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
