Professional Development Manager Location: Houston, TX, US Company: Hatch Requisition ID: 99040 Job Category: Consulting Location: Houston, TX, United States Key role responsibilities: Manage Professional Development Programs : manage the semiannual people review process; oversee mentorship and development leader process; ensure development plans are in place and support rapid development. Coordinate Resourcing and Staffing Planning : understand needs for each project and match staff; coordinate assignments for junior, mid‑level staff; maintain staffing plan, identify gaps, work with practice leaders; coordinate with recruiters to maintain pipeline; update tools to ensure visibility. Oversee Formal Training Programs : coordinate regional training courses, maintain records; collect and update skillsets and experience records. Continuously Improve Programs : maintain 12‑month improvement roadmap; support onboarding and roll‑out of similar roles across regions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent post‑secondary degree in Business Administration, HR, Engineering or related field. Minimum three years of experience in a professional consulting firm is preferred. Ability to adapt in fast‑paced, high‑growth, ambiguous environments. Hands‑on approach and ability to partner and build relationships. Problem‑diagnosis skills and ability to drive solutions independently. Strong written communication and influencing skills. Proficient use of analytics and data. Advanced use of MS tools (Excel, PowerPoint) for error‑free deliverables. Business acumen and leadership ability. Resilient in entrepreneurial environments. Collaborative approach on innovative projects.
