As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible for planning and executing recruiting activities for manufacturing professionals at our Portland, Oregon bakery. Leading the sourcing and recruitment efforts for the Portland Bakery, the recruiter will build relationships and work closely with Hiring Managers to define sourcing strategies, gather and understand the position requirements, and identify talent aligned with the role responsibilities. The recruiter serves as a primary source of recruitment advice, consultation and education on best practices to fill roles efficiently and effectively. How you will contribute The function of this role is to identify qualified candidates and manage the process from position opening through offer acceptance and onboarding. You will develop and execute recruitment solutions using direct sourcing, social networking, industry networking, employee referrals, internet sourcing, minority and trade job fairs, targeted advertising, college and community outreach. You will manage internal and external job postings in WorkDay, capture applicant flow consistently, and ensure compliance with EEOC recruitment and selection records retention requirements. What you will bring Minimum of four years of full‑cycle recruiting experience in manufacturing or industrial recruiting. Fluent in using web‑based recruiting tools (WorkDay is a plus), including social media, job boards and applicant tracking tools, and can effectively market positions to target qualified candidates. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint or similar). Ability to source passive candidates through cold calling and building relationships by phone. Proven track record in a centralized, high‑volume, online recruiting function. Demonstrated experience building strong partnerships with hiring managers and HR partners to understand needs and execute work. Strong process management, detail orientation and time‑management skills; ability to prioritize workload demands. More about this role In addition to recruiting, you will conduct local boots‑on‑ground activities such as market insights, local employer branding, community engagement, candidate attraction and onboarding. Educational Requirements High School Diploma required – Bachelor’s Degree preferred. This role is onsite 3 days a week. Salary and Benefits The base salary range is $97,300 to $133,815. Salary depends on experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, the position is eligible for a competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. Benefits include health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, educational programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some benefits have eligibility requirements and are subsidized or fully paid by the company. No relocation support is available.
