Business Development Manager (Internal Position)

To help maintain and grow this standard, we’re seeking an experienced sales manager to help us with business development in Florida, Georgia & Texas. As an ideal candidate, you’ll have a sharp business mind and proven experience in a recruitment agency managing multiple clients while finding new ones.

Responsibilities:

• Generate new business in Florida, Georgia & Texas. The primary focus of this position is to bring in new business from those states.
  


• Exceed sales revenue quotas by winning new contracts and job orders through prospecting and developing new customer relationships.
  


• Identify and qualify sales opportunities through a consultative and value-added approach to relationship development. Negotiate contractual terms and conditions for employment services and work with the operations and recruiting teams to ensure smooth handoffs.
  


• Assist in defining and developing lead generation strategies and marketing plans.
  


• Maintain relationships with prospective clients, both in-person and by phone, managing expectations and communicating how Career1 is meeting their needs.
  


• Create proposals for staffing services, customized to prospects’ needs and present these service offerings to prospects.
  


• Coordinate with Recruiting to onboard new clients, refining contracts, if needed, and working with Recruiting to fill customized services, as needed.
  


• Manage all existing accounts in designated sales territory, ensuring clients’ expectations are met or exceeded; problems are solved and issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  


• Provide leadership, coaching and assistance to junior sales team members to elevate their prospect targeting, prospecting methods and style, presentation and sales communication and closing tactics.
  


• Initiate personal growth by understanding market trends, attending educational sessions and actively networking.
  

Experience, Education and Designations Requirements:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and  5+ years of experience in the staffing/recruitment industry.
  


• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
  


• Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  


• Perform a variety of tasks.
  


• Lead and direct the work of others.
  


• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  


• Independent go-getter!
