Work Environment

This position is onsite, providing therapy in patients' homes throughout the Winter Haven community. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that may include exercises, functional training, and mobility enhancement techniques to assist recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based practices as the foundation for all treatment strategies, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care.
• Consistently monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises and self-care techniques to promote long-term wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will treat a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatric patients, and those seeking rehabilitation after sports-related injuries. Your ability to adapt treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient is vital for achieving successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy for Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear patient education and documentation.
• Proficiency in computer applications for documentation and treatment planning.
• A commitment to building strong, therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting.
• State license as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) is advantageous.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in home health care is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
