Location: 856 Maple Street, Rocky Hill, Connecticut, 06067 Central Supplies Clerk Part Time What You'll Do Our success depends on having the right tools and resources available at all times. As a Central Supply Clerk, you will be the backbone of our supply chain, ensuring that all medical and operational supplies are stocked and ready for use when needed. Key Responsibilities Maintain an accurate inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment to meet facility needs Organize and store supplies in an orderly and accessible manner Distribute supplies and equipment to departments as requested, ensuring proper documentation and tracking Assist with ordering and receiving supplies from vendors, processing invoices, and managing inventory records Perform routine inspections of supply areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with facility standards Collaborate with the nursing and administrative teams to forecast supply needs and prevent shortages Maintain compliance with infection control policies and procedures while handling supplies What We Offer As an affiliate of National Health Care, our Maple View team enjoys: Competitive compensation and benefits package including a 10% defined contribution retirement plan Comprehensive training and mentorship Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive and collaborative work environment The chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents What You'll Bring Qualifications of a Central Supply Clerk: High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with staff and vendors Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment We Hire for Heart!
