About the role

The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining facility equipment, utilities, and building systems to support safe and efficient operations. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoots equipment issues, and helps minimize downtime while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and cGMP standards. The position plays a key role in supporting production, improving equipment reliability, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Schedule - every other Sunday and then Monday through Wednesday 4:00PM - 4:30AM

Your responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility equipment, utilities, and building systems to support production operations.

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, compressed air, steam, cooling water, wastewater, and other facility systems to minimize downtime.

• Coordinate emergency repairs, contractor activities, and maintenance projects while maintaining safety and quality standards.

• Conduct inspections, identify improvement opportunities, and perform root cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and OEE.

• Ensure compliance with safety, cGMP, and company policies while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and production needs.

The experience we're looking for

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of facility maintenance experience in food, pharmaceutical, chemical, vitamin, or manufacturing environments.

• Experience performing preventive and autonomous maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.

• Working knowledge of plant utility systems including HVAC, steam, compressed air, cooling water, dust collection, and wastewater treatment.

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility-related equipment issues.

• SAP experience preferred; EPA 608 refrigeration certification or related technical certifications are a plus.
