Work Environment\n

This position will be entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in work hours and reducing commute stress. While the standard work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening or weekend availability may be necessary depending on patient needs and clinic events.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough nutrition assessments for new patients, including detailed evaluations of dietary habits, medical conditions, and lifestyle factors.

• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans, focusing on managing diabetes through medical nutrition therapy, carbohydrate counting, and insulin therapy guidance.

• Provide in-depth education and counseling to patients and their families about healthy eating habits, disease prevention, and effective management strategies for diabetes.

• Monitor patient progress and health outcomes, adjusting care plans and interventions as needed based on their evolving needs and responses to treatment.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes endocrinologists and nurse educators, to ensure integrated patient care and comprehensive treatment planning.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
