Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate mental health needs, deliver short-term psychotherapy, and facilitate group therapy sessions tailored to a diverse student population.

• Offer expert consultation for counseling requests and ensure that students receive appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Plan and execute outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness about mental health resources available within the school community.

• Participate actively in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance your clinical skills and stay current with best practices.

• Provide crisis assessment and intervention services to students in distress, ensuring timely support and follow-up.

• Maintain adherence to legal and ethical standards in all aspects of practice.

• Evaluate suicidal concerns using established assessment tools and, when necessary, facilitate arrangements for hospitalization or long-term treatment referrals.

• Deliver services both in-person and via telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility for all students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse population of adolescents and young adults, including those in middle and high school, as well as college students. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by this age group, you will tailor interventions and support mechanisms that acknowledge cultural, social, and academic factors contributing to their mental health. You will also collaborate with educators to enhance the holistic support provided in the school setting.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and possession of a valid LCSW license. Candidates with fully licensed LMHC credentials will also be considered.

• At least three years of post-graduate clinical experience in case management, particularly in educational settings.

• Experience in implementing treatment strategies for diverse adolescent populations, fluently managing a variety of treatment issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges between $115,000 and $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
