Front Desk Agent

Job Description Job Description The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all guests. Working within a medium-sized team of 4-7 agents and reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, this role requires flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the needs of the hotel. The Front Desk Agent manages reservations, handles guest check-ins and check-outs, resolves complaints, and provides excellent customer service to create a positive first impression.

Responsibilities
Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently
Handle reservations and maintain accurate booking records
Provide prompt customer support and address guest inquiries
Process payments accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby area
Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
Resolve guest complaints with professionalism and care
Deliver excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction

Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service
Strong customer service and reservation management skills
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
Efficient time management and multitasking capabilities
Conflict resolution expertise
Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
Ability to work well within a team

Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
