Position Security Officer Patrol Driver Specialist in Titusville, FL — unarmed driving patrol officer at an aerospace/defense location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Job Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.91 / Hour Schedule Day and shift information is provided by the site and may vary. Typical schedule includes daytime hours as listed for specific days of the week. What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site protocols, supporting restricted-area controls for personnel, visitors, and deliveries. Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activities, and policy-related concerns, and relay important information during shift handoffs to support ongoing site operations. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience. At least 21 years of age for driving positions; 18 years of age for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles. Valid driver’s license as required by Allied Universal policy. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws; Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Drug screen required where permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
