Step into an impactful contract role providing comprehensive psychological services to students across the Denver area. This on-site, full-time position (Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week) offers the opportunity to work with diverse age groups from early childhood through high school, assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.

As a dedicated school psychologist, you’ll support the mental health and educational development of students within special education and general education settings. You’ll work collaboratively with families, educators, and external partners to create safe, supportive learning environments through direct services, crisis management, IEP assessments, and ongoing consultation.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a school setting (minimum of 3 years required).
• Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate in School Psychology.
• Current CDE Special Service Provider License with School Psychology endorsement.
• Demonstrated proficiency in student assessment and data-driven report writing.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness during crisis interventions.
• Technologically adept, with experience using current computer applications.
• Capacity to engage with diverse communities and manage multiple priorities.
• Successful completion of district background check and fingerprinting.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling aligned with IEP mental health goals.
• Deliver interventions at individual, group, and systems levels to address academic, social, behavioral, and mental health concerns.
• Conduct suicide risk and threat assessments, develop safety plans, and respond to crises.
• Complete cognitive, behavioral, and adaptive skills assessments; write and interpret evaluation reports.
• Develop behavior intervention plans, conduct observations, and collaborate in IEP and MTSS meetings.
• Offer psychoeducational resources for staff, students, and families; perform wellness/home visits.
