Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Telemetry (High-risk Cardiology)

SCHEDULE
12-hour Nights (3x12 or 4x12 approved)
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week for 3x12 schedule

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years RN experience required
- High-risk telemetry experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
- EMR: EPIC required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and assess patient conditions on a telemetry unit
- Manage cardiac drips and conduct dysrhythmia interpretation
- Provide post-operative care for high-risk cardiology patients, including sheath removal and central line management
- Administer tracheostomy care and monitor procedures such as BiPAP/HFNC
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient support

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Max RTO = 7 days (more requires manager approval)
- No RTO allowed the first week of assignment
- Facial hair must allow fit testing (may be required to shave)
- Labs within 48-72 hours of signing; required modules completed pre-start (modules must be finished by specified compliance deadline)
