Lead Technician

Lead TechnicianThe Lead Technician is responsible for overseeing and managing a crew, controlling job costs, production times, and quality assurance, and acting as the primary point of contact for our customers, in addition to being responsible for a company vehicle and all equipment for both commercial and residential divisions. In addition, the Lead Technician is working with a Field Technician who regularly handles 24/7 emergency water damage recovery, mold remediation, fire restoration, and indoor air quality services in homes and buildings.Primary Responsibilities:Manage the production, including hands-on work as required, of mold remediation, water damage cleanup, installation of preventative moisture control solutions, and HVAC and dryer vent cleaning per written scope of workProvide strong leadership to ensure successful, safe, timely, and profitable project delivery and completionManage documentation on projects (i.e. photos, contracts, etc.)Respond to emergency recovery situations when needed, 24/7Work safely in a team environmentEnsures all safety measures are enforced on the job siteQualifications:At least three years of experience in property restoration services. Water/Fire/Mold specific restoration experience necessary.Working knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction practices is a strong plusSelf-motivated and growth-orientedAble to work efficiently and effectively in a Team environmentStrong communication skillsExcellent Customer Service skillsAbility to operate PC and mobile devicesExhibit a professional, neat appearanceAbility to lift 75 lbsValid driver's license with satisfactory driving recordSafety Gear Provided:PPEGloves (leather, nitrile, or coated cloth depending on application)Safety Glasses or GogglesN-95 RespiratorsPoly Spun "Tyvek" style suits with hood and foot protectionShoe Covers, Knee Pads, and Muck BootsHard Hats, Ear Protection, and steel-toe shoes may be required, depending on site applicationFall protection for aerial workCompensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourLightspeed Restoration franchises come to the aid of residential and commercial customers who have been impacted by water and fire damage and indoor air quality issues.
