Qualifications: Masters degree in Special Education (required) Valid Severe and Profound Certification (required) Prior schools-based experience in a related role Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills Key Responsibilities: Deliver personalized instruction and interventions tailored for K-12 students with severe and profound needs Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and families Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring appropriate goals and accommodations Document progress towards goals and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom atmosphere Promote student independence and social/emotional growth Youll enjoy highly competitive compensation, with weekly pay rates ranging from $45 to $50 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
