HiFyve is hiring a CNC Machinist in the machining/manufacturing industry in St. Peters, MO !

Shift: 1st Shift

Location: St. Peters, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up precision parts on CNC mills and lathes
• Follow detailed work instructions to complete machining operations accurately
• Operate CNC machines while carefully monitoring programs and machine position
• Develop and provide new CNC programs as needed
• Work with machine controls, instrumentation, and tooling
• Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and productivity
• Maintain strong attention to detail throughout setups and production
• Use good judgment to identify and address machining issues
• Follow established quality and safety standards
• Maintain dependable attendance and contribute to a productive team environment

Education Requirements

• Relevant CNC machining, technical, or manufacturing training preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent functional and technical machining skills
• Experience setting up precision parts on CNC mills or lathes
• Knowledge of controls, instrumentation, and tooling
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions
• Ability to monitor CNC programs and machine positioning
• Experience creating or providing new CNC programs
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Experience in aerospace or high-complexity machining is a plus
• Ability to work in a year-round climate-controlled manufacturing environment
