About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Policy Advisor to the Chief of Staff. This role is pivotal in the organization's mission to maintain a safe and secure environment while supporting the successful re-entry of individuals into the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing centralized expertise and strategic counsel on policy issues, ensuring that the organization's vision and mission are realized. This includes supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of high-priority initiatives, tracking project plans, and deliverables, and preparing executive-level presentations and reports. The Senior Policy Advisor will also engage with senior staff, partner agencies, and external stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and may represent the Chief of Staff in various meetings. Applicants for the Senior Policy Advisor position should be highly organized, analytically strong, and possess exceptional writing, presentation, and project management skills. The role requires the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels and to adapt quickly to changing priorities. A background in public sector or correctional experience is preferred, particularly in supporting large, complex operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a practical, can-do approach, and a professional demeanor, capable of working effectively in a fast-paced executive environment. A baccalaureate degree and a minimum of 4 years' of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with 6 years' of experience, are required, with a strong preference for candidates with a graduate degree in a related field.
