Business Development Support and Intelligence Specialist Full-time PA Consulting Group has an immediate opening for a Business Support Specialist based out of our Denver office. The individual in this role will provide administrative coordination support to PA’s Energy & Utilities EAU sector team. This position requires strong organization, critical thinking, proactive communication, stakeholder management, customer‑centric mentality, and ability to deliver high‑quality outputs by tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities Compiling and disseminating energy related news: Provide daily energy industry news summaries by reviewing secondary sources and subscribed databases. Compile and disseminate market insights and fulfill article requests. Business development coordinator: Assist with proposal, RFQ, and RFP support. Manage vendor registrations and procurement site reviews, distribute opportunities, and complete bid submittal forms while meeting client specific requirements. Job Opening Support and Document Management: Ensure client documents are filed according to internal procedures, compile SOX compliant documents for finance, complete financial bid models, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics CRM processes. EAU Track record support and management: Work with project delivery teams to document outcomes and successes for qualification databases and brand assets. Deliverable Support: Produce high-quality proposals, ensuring thorough review and compliance with PA document standards. Knowledge sharing and best practices: Develop and maintain best practice processes, knowledge management systems, and existing databases. Project Management: Conduct work with minimal guidance once onboarded. Teamwork: Build internal network, work with business support team, cover for colleagues during leave or sickness, and support other business areas as needed. Ad hoc support: Handle ad hoc assignments as part of a larger team, serve as administrative contact for staff and Denver office. Attributes, Skills and Qualifications Proactive, capable of working with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment. Ability to prioritize, multi‑task, and assimilate information quickly. Strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication. Good presentation skills to showcase research findings in a professional manner. Logical thinking: effectively assess requests, draw concise conclusions for executives. Knowledge of market research tools and techniques. Professional interaction with all levels of employees and external clients/customers. Energetic, motivated, confident, and assertive when necessary. Initiative and willingness to take greater responsibility. Strong understanding of the energy (including power) industry preferred. Bachelor’s degree or at least two years of relevant experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook). Willingness to support the internal Business Support team as needed. Comfortable in a collaborative, high‑performing team environment. Hybrid working model (2 days in office). Commitment to ongoing learning, mentoring, and professional development.
