Registered Nurse – Cardiac Operating Room

Schedule: 12-hour shift - 7a to 7p

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• RN License (NY License ONLY)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Two (2) Years Experience in a relevant field
• Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma - Highly desired
• Ability to scrub and circulate

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Operating Room, managing preoperative and postoperative patient needs.
• Scrub and circulate during complex adult cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to immediate needs during surgical procedures.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment in the operating room.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and postoperative care.
