Come be a part of the revolution!About the Role: Registered Nurse - Health CenterAs an RN, you'll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experiences of the residents in our short-term, skilled-care health center at Edgewater in West Des Moines.As a Registered Nurse, you will:Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and develop individualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.Supervise and support CNAs and other healthcare staff, providing guidance and training as needed.Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.Offer emotional support and education to residents and their families, promoting overall well-being and understanding of care plans.Open Shifts Available:FT Day shift (6:00a - 6:00p) - 3 shifts per week, and every other weekend.Qualifications:Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to serve othersStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesState of Iowa RN or LPN LicenseCommunity Location: 9225 Cascade Ave, West Des Moines, IA 50266What We OfferWe know a great career is about more than just a paycheck — it's about belonging, growth, and making a difference.
