A leading industrial organization is looking for a Technical Writer I to develop and maintain technical documentation supporting maintenance and operations.

Location: Pensacola, FL 32514

Duration: 12 Months

Pay Rate: $30/hr. – $35/hr. W2

What we're looking for:

3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or similar environment

Strong technical writing and documentation skills

Experience creating/updating user manuals, PM work orders, job plans, and technical documentation

Ability to read and interpret OEM manuals, technical drawings, and schematics

Experience with Maximo or other CMMS platforms preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF editing tools

Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Ability to work hands-on in an industrial environment and safely access equipment

Flexibility to work any shift, weekends, overtime, or short-notice schedules

Preferred:

• xhyhwjd Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance trade certification/associate degree

• Experience standardizing PM programs or CMMS processes

• Knowledge of Lean Maintenance, RCM, or reliability methodologies

• Experience working directly with maintenance technicians, supervisors, and engineering teams
