Demand Planning Analyst

Requisition Summary The Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for managing part forecasts in support of the Parts Distribution Center (PDC) Inventory Planning team using integrated forecasting applications. Job Functions / Responsibilities Actively manage forecasts of parts included in seasonal promotions, incorporating all pertinent information to help obtain optimal results. Achieve, track, and maintain forecast accuracy according to stated goals. Promote continuous improvement of forecasting processes and procedures. Work closely with Inventory Planners in achieving optimal inventory management results. Manage special projects as necessary. Provide timely, quality information to Materials Management through regular updates. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, or related field is required. 2 years of relevant work experience (i.e., Inventory Control, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics) including intermediate proficiency with SQL required. Six Sigma experience a plus. Advanced PC skills in Word, Excel, and Access a plus. Knowledge of Python or other coding preferred. Strong self‑management skills and initiative. Tableau experience preferred. Knowledge of Blue Yonder/JDA or other forecasting software. A team player with excellent communication skills. Strong analytical ability to monitor and identify trends in large volumes of data. Benefits 401k with up to a 5% company match.
