DescriptionKforce's client in Westborough, MA is seeking a strategic, hands-on Controller to lead corporate accounting for a multi-state organization with approximately over $500M in revenue.Summary:Reporting to the recently promoted VP/Director, this role oversees accounting operations, controls and reporting, in a high-volume transactional environment. Our client is seeking a team leader with strong accounting expertise coming from a $400M or greater high transactional environment with prior public and private company experience in either manufacturing, product, distribution, retail, engineering, or the construction industries.Key Responsibilities:* Be the leader of the accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of general ledger activity and financial reporting across a complex, multi-state organization* Mentor, develop and lead a strong existing team to build collaboration* Partner with leaders on strategic initiatives, systems optimization, and process improvements that support continued growth* Support budgeting and forecasting activities* Prepare and submit accurate financial statements* Provide ad hoc reporting, analysis, and decision support in a fast-paced, high-volume accounting environmentRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or public accounting foundation strongly preferred* Minimum of 10 years total experience with 2 years of experience as a Controller in a large, complex organization with at least $500 million in revenue, along with proven success leading teams in a growth-oriented environment* Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus* Ability to work on-site, with occasional remote daysJob TypeDirect HireCompensation225000 - $300000
