Senior Grants AccountantOur client, a well-established nonprofit organization, is seeking a Senior Grants Accountant with experience managing NYC and New York State grants.Responsibilities:Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close process.Manage grant billing, invoicing, and reimbursement requests.Prepare and submit grant budgets and budget modifications for NYC and NYS grants.Reconcile grant accounts and ensure compliance with funding requirements.Partner with program teams to support financial reporting and audits.Qualifications:3+ years of grants accounting experience.Experience with NYC and/or New York State grant billing and reporting.Strong background in month-end close, journal entries, grant billing, and budget submissions.Proficient in Excel and accounting systems.Strong organizational and communication skills.This is a great opportunity to join a mission-driven organization offering a flexible hybrid or fully remote work schedule.
