• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $75.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM; On-Call required: 5:30 PM - 7:00 AM weeknights and weekends (Friday 5:30 PM - Monday 7:00 AM)
• Travel Requirements: Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius. Please contact the recruiter for local rate details. RTO must be included at time of submission.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Cath Lab RN contract opportunity at an acute care hospital in Apple Valley, CA. This is a reduced Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) position - 0 hours NBO versus the standard 40 hours NBO. A minimum of 2 years of RN experience is required, with at least 1 year specifically in a Cath Lab setting (hard stop). First-time travelers will not be considered (hard stop; candidates with 5 years of experience will be screened). Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered, and weekends may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization lab procedures
• Assist with cardiac stent placement
• Circulate procedures within the Cath Lab setting
• Perform and support right and left heart catheterization
• Fulfill on-call requirements: 5:30 PM - 7:00 AM weeknights and weekends (Friday 5:30 PM - Monday 7:00 AM)

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (hard stop)
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience (hard stop)
• Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Cardiac Stent Placement experience
• Ability to circulate procedures
• Right and left heart catheterization experience
• No first-time travelers; experienced travelers only

Education Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required

• Scrub color: Navy blue (RNs); scrubs provided for L&D/OR
• Parking: Free parking available
