Position Overview As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be responsible for operating production equipment and assembling components into machined valve bodies. This role includes hands-on assembly, machine operation, quality checks, and material handling to support a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. In addition, you may also assist with washing, deburring, packing, and replenishing parts while maintaining accurate production and quality records.

Pay & Shifts

• 1st Shift: $16.50/hr.
• 2nd Shift: $17.50/hr.
• 3rd Shift: $17.00/hr.
• Overtime available

What You'll Do

• Operate assembly and production machinery
• Load and unload small automotive parts weighing 6 8lbs.
• Assemble components into machined valve bodies
• Perform visual and quality inspections
• Use gauges, micrometers, and measuring tools
• Reset machine faults and assist with changeovers
• Track counts, Lot control, and Quality data
• Pack parts into dunnage and move materials using pallet jacks
• Keep work areas clean and safe
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures

What We're Looking For (required):

• Ability to read and write in English
• Strong attendance
• Strong attention to detail
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Comfortable with repetitive motion, standing, bending, and lifting

Preferred (not required):

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturing or assembly experience
• Basic computer skills
• Experience with quality inspection, SPC, or Lot control

Physical Requirements

• Standing up to 8 hours per shift
• Lift up to 6-8 lbs. continuously; 10-15 lbs. occasionally
• Repetitive hand and arm movement
• Bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Standing position for duration of shift
• Ability to work safely around machinery
• Wear Safety shoes, ESD straps, Hairnet, Beard cover, and any other protective equipment required
