Key Responsibilities:

1. Accurately process and post incoming payments in adherence to our financial procedures.
2. Ensure timely and error-free transaction processing.
3. Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring all payments are correctly documented and posted.
4. Generate detailed financial reports on accounts receivable status.
5. Address and resolve payment discrepancies in collaboration with our sales and customer service teams.
6. Implement the collection process for overdue accounts.
7. Maintain detailed and organized records of all cash application activities.
8. Assist in month-end closing activities.
9. Advocate for continuous improvements in payment processes to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk, Cash Application Specialist, or in a similar capacity.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet stringent deadlines.
• A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and accountability.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $70,000 - $72,000 annually, based on experience.
