Senior Planner Buyer

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Planner Buyer for their Vision care division in Puerto Rico. The role coordinates material planning and purchasing to support uninterrupted production and timely customer delivery while managing inventory levels and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Collect raw material and component requirements from engineering and production specifications and schedules
• Manage raw material inventory investment and identify process improvement opportunities
• Analyze procurement and scheduling data to support forecasting and make recommendations to management
• Prepare purchase orders for raw materials, components, packaging, and supplies; monitor deliveries and resolve discrepancies
• Lead supplier evaluations, S&OP coordination, and Lean or Six Sigma improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of supply chain, operations, logistics, or relevant experience
• Experience with finished goods or raw material buying and planning
• Fluency in English and Spanish (read, write, speak)
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills with attention to detail
• Experience in regulated environments (Pharma/Medical Devices) preferred; Green Belt Six Sigma or APICS certification preferred
