About the Role The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the facility, specifically as it relates to safety, quality, on-time delivery to customers, productivity, and cost controls. The individual in this role will oversee the production, maintenance, and quality assurance functions of the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will direct the coordination of all manufacturing departments’ functions to ensure compliance with company objectives, improve quality systems, and increase customer satisfaction. What You’ll Do Be a Safety leader and exemplify the goal of Zero Harm as a core value (Ensures a safe work environment and adherence to Safety Standards). Direct the planning, organising and optimum running of day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations. Increase production, line capacity and crew flexibility while minimising cost and maintaining current quality standards. Ensure safe production of quality product delivered to our customers On-Time and In‑Full. Oversee overall production output of the facilities and their continued optimisation. Strategic allocation of resources (people, raw materials, machinery, facilities, etc.). Ensure monitoring of all operations and trigger unsatisfactory conditions, including development of corrective actions. Ensure the facility is maintained to a high housekeeping standard and that all equipment is in good running order. Collect and analyse data to reduce waste (materials, machine speed, machine delay). Develop and implement systems and processes that track performance to enable optimisation of productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to achieve high returns on capital employed. Budget and manage manufacturing cost structures by developing and maintaining operational expenses within budget and exploring cost‑reduction measures. Apply Lean manufacturing principles to improve, design, and maintain manufacturing processes to achieve organisational goals. Address all employees’ concerns or issues to foster a positive work atmosphere. Influence, mentor, and learn from direct and indirect reports. Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact of quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel. Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy. Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands. Be responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System. Raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to a supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business Management; or equivalent manufacturing experience. 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. 5 years of experience in a manufacturing management position. Proven knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources). Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, and factory leadership processes. Strong aptitude for root cause analysis and troubleshooting operational issues. Highly proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.) applications and computer technology. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership and managerial attributes, ability to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce. Ability to create accountability and lead by example. Exceptional organisational and time‑management skills. Good understanding of national and local regulatory requirements for plant operations. What You’ll Get Pay range: $120,000 USD to $150,000 USD. This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus.
