Bankruptcy Litigation Associate

Overview A law firm seeks a 4th Year Bankruptcy Litigation Associate to join its Los Angeles, California office. This position is ideal for a litigator with at least three years of bankruptcy litigation experience and a strong understanding of the Bankruptcy Code. Duties Collaborate on complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters, including Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court workouts. Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and pleadings on bankruptcy issues. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders professionally. Stay informed on legal developments and industry trends in bankruptcy law. Attend bankruptcy court hearings. Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials. Admission to the New York or California State Bar. 3+ years of commercial litigation and bankruptcy experience. Proven track record with outstanding legal writing skills. Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Education J.D. from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the New York or California State Bar. Skills Strong research and analytical abilities. Exceptional brief and memo writing skills.
