PRN Onsite Health TechnicianMedcor is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team as a PRN Onsite Health Technician at our construction site clinic in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. This is a great opportunity for an EMT looking to supplement their current income, gain experience in occupational health, or enjoy a change of pace from traditional emergency medical services.This is an as-needed position with no guaranteed hours. Shifts may become available Monday through Saturday between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM. If you have the flexibility to pick up occasional shifts, we'd love to hear from you!As an Onsite Health Technician, you'll provide hands-on medical care, assist with workplace injury management, and help support the health and safety of employees working on an active construction project.Your responsibilities will include:Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses in accordance with Medcor's evidence-based clinical protocols.Respond to onsite medical emergencies and provide appropriate care within your EMT scope of practice.Assist with workers' compensation cases, treatment plan monitoring, and Return-to-Work (RTW) programs.Support pre-employment and post-offer screenings, Physical Assessment Testing (PATs), and other workplace health initiatives.Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.Work closely with construction site safety professionals, supervisors, and Medcor's clinical leadership.Assist with maintaining workplace injury and illness documentation.Promote a safe, healthy work environment through patient education and injury prevention support.Required Qualifications:Current EMT certification/licensure appropriate for practice in Wisconsin.Current CPR/BLS certification.Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and provide professional, compassionate patient care.Comfortable working in an active construction environment, including climbing stairs and working at heights when necessary.Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag.Flexibility to accept occasional shifts based on clinic needs and personal availability.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience in occupational health, construction site medical services, or workplace injury management.Background in EMS, emergency medicine, or urgent care.Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.Experience with workers' compensation or Return-to-Work programs.Why Join Medcor?Flexible PRN Opportunities: Pick up available shifts that fit your schedule, with no guaranteed minimum hours.Experience Beyond EMS: Expand your clinical experience into occupational health and workplace medicine.Meaningful Patient Care: Help employees receive appropriate treatment and safely return to work.Professional Growth: Gain valuable experience with an established occupational healthcare organization.Training & Support: Receive guidance from Medcor's experienced clinical and operational teams.Established Organization: Join a company that has been providing innovative healthcare solutions since 1984.Collaborative Environment: Work alongside professionals who are passionate about patient care and workplace safety.Medcor is a leading provider of occupational health services, delivering innovative healthcare solutions through onsite clinics, injury prevention programs, and evidence-based medical care.
