BARTENDER (FULL TIME)

Bartender Position at Northwestern UniversityWe are hiring immediately for full time BARTENDER positions at Northwestern University. Address: 633 Clark Street, Evanston, IL 60208. Prior bartending experience is preferred. Fixed Pay Rate: $25.18 per hour.Job Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in bar area in a friendly, courteous and timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include adhering to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests, setting up assigned bars; requisitioning and stocking all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce, maintaining stock, preparing, curing and storing all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality, greeting guests in a courteous, friendly manner, taking and/or processing orders for drinks; mixing, garnishing and presenting drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practicing prudent portion control, checking guests at the bar for proper identification, detecting and acting upon guest inebriation as trained.
